Each year the tournament is held the Monday after the Master’s at Devil’s Ridge Golf Club. Last year on April 13th The Holly Springs Rotary Club hosted the 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Operation Coming Home. Andrew Ladner and Jennifer Woods of the United State Veteran Corps assisted Brad Wilson; the Golf committee chairman of the Rotary Club coordinate this event. In attendance were, Ryan Wightman, US Marines, Kyle Snyder, US Army and Tim Payne, US Army, recent recipients of their new homes located in Fuquay Varina. Mayor Dick Sears helped kicked off the event with Rotarian, Christine Quante. Many local businesses and Sunset Ridge residence helped to make this event the largest grossing Rotary charity golf tournament, in the 10 years of this event. The winners of the golf tournament were local residence, Brian Woomer, Dr. Dan Mahar, Jim Wyland and, John Kozack. Thank you to all the sponsors and players for making this a wonderful event, benefiting a great and worthy cause.
This year The Holly Springs Rotary Club is pleased to announce our 11th annual charity golf outing on Monday, April 11th. This year’s community fundraising event will again help
support the special programs of the Holly Springs Rotary Club and benefit Operation Coming Home. The focus of the event will be to raise funds to aid local military service members who were severely wounded in combat and helping them to fulfill their desire to live the American dream of home ownership.
Ways for you to help:
-Sponsor: We are asking for a sponsorship donation ranging from Platinum to our Par sponsors. The Rotary Club is also requesting a donation that could be included
as a raffle prize at the event. This could include, golf balls, hats, shirts, clubs and/or gift certificate to your business. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
In return for your donation, your business will be recognized at this event in the printed program and on various sponsor signs to be displayed at the golf event.
We are anticipating approximately 140 members of the business community to attend our annual event. Your generous donation would be welcome and greatly appreciated. -Play in the event. Foursome and individual spots are still available but don’t wait until the last minute, spots do fill quickly.
