Aldi Supermarket – Proposed
Aldi has submitted paperwork to place a store at 2101 Ralph Stephens Road. The 19,000+ square foot store would be at the corner of Ralph Stephens Road and Hwy 55 Bypass, on the south side of IHOP. At press time, the project has not yet been approved.
Sir Walter Coffee + Kitchen…
is currently located in Downtown Raleigh and is expanding to a second location. They will feature craft coffee, cocktails, local beer, and a full kitchen offering breakfast through dinner. The are moving into Town Hall Commons.
Black Dog Bottle Shop
140 West Holly Springs Road
Black Dog Bottle Shop will be part craft beer retail (buy one bottle, mix-and-match/make your own 6-pack, etc.) and part tap house with 20 rotating taps. Something unique about the shop is that it will be dog-friendly. The shop will be in the plaza behind Walgreens at the corner of North Main St. and Holly Springs Road. They expect to have their grand opening on Saturday, September 15. The name Black Dog Bottle Shop comes from their love for dogs, and because the owners have two black dogs. They’re planning to work with animal rescue organizations to increase the adoption rate for all dogs. They will be Holly Springs’ first bottle shop!
Shine Orthodontics…
is moving into Town Hall Commons. Dr. Rita McGrogan will offer a full range of orthodontic services from Invisalign, braces, interceptive treatment and adult treatment.
Old Navy
If you’re a fan of Old Navy, you soon won’t have to go to Beaver Creek to shop there. It’s been announced that a store will be opening in Towne Center in Holly Springs. No exact date as to when the doors will open.
The Exchange at Holly Springs

PointOne Holdings in partnership with Hathaway Development has broken ground on a new luxury Class-A apartment community development in Holly Springs, on Ralph Stevens Road.
Named The Exchange at Holly Springs, the project will be a 316-unit Class “A” luxury garden-style apartment community featuring a mix of three-and four-story apartment buildings and carriage buildings which will include units with garages.
The gated community will include elevators in its four-story buildings, a spacious resident clubroom and business center, state-of-the-art fitness center, resort-style pool with outdoor grilling areas, a dog park and spa, detached garages, package concierge service, and bike storage. The units will all feature high-end finishes such as granite counter tops, designer cabinetry, and hardwood style flooring.
Holly Lakes at Sunset Lake Commons
The plaza where Fresh Market was originally scheduled to open is now filling quickly. Check the map to see the new tenants that have committed to filling the plaza once construction is completed. The developer is hoping for a late-fall opening.
