The Block on Main
The 54,000-square-foot Block on Main complex is wrapping up construction, and some of the tenants are hoping to be open before the end of the year. The building is located on Main Street, at West Rogers Street and backs up to Avent Ferry Road.
The current tenants include Mamma Mia Italian Bistro, Prana Yoga, Peek-A-Boo Grins, Five Knives Deli, the Coworking Station, Anewgo, and Studio 557. You can learn more about each tenant at www.theblockonmain.com/tenants.
There are more tenants that will be announced in coming months.
They are planning to have Holly Springs’ first rooftop restaurant and bar, but a tenant hasn’t been announced yet.
There will be an outdoor amphitheater with seating for up to 100 where musicians and artists will perform regularly. They will also host a children’s reading series there in the spring and fall.
They will have three public art projects: one outdoor mural near the amphitheater, one spanning all three floors of the lobby and one in the Coworking Station.
The Block will be raising funds for a different charity every month and will host a monthly block party, charity poker tournament, and family game night. Their goal is to raise $100K for charity every year.

Carolina Springs
Carolina Springs is a massive master-planned community that will be located at Veridea Parkway, just off of 540, and connecting all the way to Woods Creek Rd. The almost 400-acre property will be a mixture of residential and commercial development. After we spoke with the developer, we agreed that we are going to wait until the next issue to make all the announcements of what you can expect to see here. Some preliminary details have been released, but he assured us that those details were proposals, and not concrete. Look for an update from us soon with solid information.
