Fable Bookstore and Café is “a cozy new gathering spot for readers, writers, and dreamers.” Enjoy specialty coffee, delicious breakfast options, fresh pastries, and thoughtfully curated books as well as author events, writing workshops, kids’ storytime, book clubs, and more. Graham Wood Property — Approved
1432 Avent Ferry Road
A 33.25-acre tract of vacant land at 1432 Avent Ferry Road, between Holly Glen and Morgan Park, is being rezoned for a proposed 120-unit subdivision. Plans include 75 single-family dwellings, 32 townhomes, 1.97 acres of open space (for options including a pool/clubhouse or dog park), and a tree preservation area of 3.93 acres. Roadway improvements are included in the plans. Construction is expected to be completed around mid- to late-2027.
Pine Springs Upper School — Proposed
420 Green Oaks Parkway
Pine Springs Preparatory Academy is proposing a three-story, 121,068-square-foot high school on 14.82 acres along Green Oaks Parkway. Plans include a carpool circuit and parking for staff, students, and visitors. Pine Springs Preparatory Academy currently has about 1,400 students in grades kindergarten through eighth. The new school will have a curriculum that focuses on life sciences, and it will be located in the Holly Springs Business Park, home to FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies and CSL Seqirus. Town and school leaders see the location as ideal for preparing students for classroom-to-career transitions.
Cass Holt Crossing — Proposed
5608 Cass Holt Road
A subdivision plan has been proposed for 46.15 acres along Cass Holt Road near its intersection with Honeycutt Road. Plans call for 56 single-family homes that start at 2,200 square feet and 50 townhomes beginning at 1,600 square feet.
