Sports and Fitness Equipment Resale Store Brought to Holly Springs by Local Husband and Wife team
Local families will soon have a place that not only puts cash back into their pockets, but sells new and gently-used sports and fitness equipment for less.
The new Play It Again Sports® in Holly Springs will be located at 138 W. Holly Springs. The store will open to purchase merchandise from the community’s residents in September, and the official grand opening will take place in October. The store provides detailed updates on it’s timeline for opening on Facebook @PlayItAgainSportsHollySprings.
The unique resale store will buy and sell gently-used sports and fitness equipment—including baseball gloves and bats, lacrosse equipment, golf clubs, soccer, football equipment, hockey gear, motorized treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, benches, weights, and more.
The store is owned by a local husband and wife team, Wayne and Erin Pare. Wayne spent 24 years in the Army, and after eight deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, he retired in 2017. With the couple and two children used to being on the move, Wayne and Erin wanted to plant their roots in a family orientated community, and open their own business. Since they moved to the community in 2014, Wayne has served as a Volunteer Coach and Cub Scout leader in Holly Springs, and Erin teaches violin to kids and adults in the community.
No appointment is necessary to sell sports and fitness equipment to the store. The store also pays consumers on the spot for goods it purchases from them.
This is great news for Holly Springs sports families.

Locklear Roofing
550 Irving Pakway, Holly Springs
Locklear Roofing has outgrown their spaces in Apex, and is proud to be moving to Holly Springs, and becoming part of the Holly Springs community.
Construction is underway now, and they expect to complete construction by the end of the year, and open to the public January 1st, 2018.
Jackie Locklear has been running the company for the past 21 years, taking over from her father that started the company in 1980.
The new site will give them the ability to feature all the products they carry under one roof. They have been serving residential customers primarily over the past 37 years, but the new space will allow them to offer more to commercial clients.
Locklear Roofing sells and installs roofing. No need for an additional contractor.

Southern Crossroads
Main Street Ext. & Ralph Stevens Rd.
Southern Crossroads has been updated and approved by the town. Originally approved in February, some amendments were made to allow for better access.
Southern Crossroads will be a mixed-used development with just over 17 acres of commercial space, and almost 36 acres of residential space.
The plan is that the apartments will occupy roughly 30 acres, and the commercial space is available for development.
In mid-August the process started on getting the infrastructure done which started with connecting the property to the sewage system, and the internal roads are beginning. There is no set date on when ground will break or the apartments will be finished.
