Santa’s Mailbox

In front of Town Hall | 128 S. Main Street
Santa’s Mailbox returns for the season! The mailbox is a gift to the children in Holly Springs by ASI, North Carolina. Once letters are dropped off, Holly Springs Run Club volunteers and Endurance Fence Solutions staff run them to the North Pole so that Santa can answer those that include a name and home address.

Holly Day Express with the Fire Department
December 7 through December 11
Various Holly Springs neighborhoods
Santa Claus is coming to town! Old St. Nick will catch a ride with the Holly Springs Fire Department by hopping on a float and being escorted through town. Fire engines will join Santa’s tour, so if you hear a siren or see some lights, you’ll know Santa is getting close! Remember, safety is first with Santa, so if firefighters need to respond to an emergency, the tour will be paused to accommodate their response. Follow Santa’s progress in real time on the Town’s specially created Santa Tracker. Back again this year, Santa plans to pass through a public location, such as a designated park, every night. So, if you miss him in your neighborhood, there’s still a way to wave hello.

Make a Plan to Make a Difference This Holiday Season
From food donations to toy collections and more, the Town of Holly Springs is offering multiple ways to spread joy this holiday season. Here are a few ways you can help neighbors in need:
Thanksgiving Holiday Hunger Relief Food Drive
Through November 18
Law Enforcement Center | 750 Holly Springs Road
Town Hall | 128 S. Main Street
The Holly Springs Police Cadets are hosting their annual holiday food drive from Oct. 14 to Nov. 18. Drop off your donations at the Law Enforcement Center or Town Hall. All items go directly to the Holly Springs Food Cupboard to help local families.
Holly Springs Police Angel Tree
Through mid-December
Law Enforcement Center | 750 Holly Springs Road
Every year, Holly Springs school resource officers identify children who could benefit from a boost of holiday cheer. Select a tag from the Christmas tree listing a child’s name, age, clothing and shoe size, and their wish list. Return the gifts you purchased to the Law Enforcement Center lobby and officers will deliver them to the Salvation Army collection location.
Shop with a Cop
Back again by popular demand, Holly Springs police officers partner with local schools to select children in need for this cool experience! The children are paired with an officer to shop for holiday presents for themselves and their families.
