If you’ve lived in Holly Springs for a little while, you’ve probably heard of the Holly Springs Run Club(HSRC). The Club is active, with a lot of members. The Club is so large that they even been successful in bringing marathon races to Holly Springs.
What you may not know is that the majority of the proceeds from the races are given back to the Holly Springs Parks & Rec department. They saved the donations from the first two years of the race and are now putting them to use! The town was able to purchase various pieces of fitness equipment that have been installed along the Carl Dean Greenway. Each piece of equipment will have signage recognizing the HSRC for funding the installation. The equipment is available for the public to use.
