The varsity Golden Hawks football team concluded the season with a record of five wins and five losses. The players displayed remarkable perseverance and never gave up on the team. This squad faced challenges, being both young and inexperienced on the field, and had to navigate scheduling conflicts and difficult weather conditions. Despite these obstacles, we finished the season tied for third place in the conference and had several players recognized on the all-conference list. The JV team finished a great season at 8-1.
The following players received all-conference honors: QB Kaleb Williams, WR Kingston Davis, WR Tracy Harrington, OL Liam Higgins-Flocke, OL Carter Olson, LB Maddox Moore, LB Clarkson Bryan, LB Liam McNierney, and DB Sam Goode. Additionally, WR Christian Davison and OL Jackson Purvis earned honorable mention all-conference recognition.
We extend our gratitude to everyone in the community, as well as the students and staff at Holly Springs, for their unwavering support throughout the season. A special shout out goes to the best student section in the state, the Purple Craze.
