Five years and counting and LaunchHOLLYSPRINGS (LHS) is not slowing down. On May 18, the program graduated its sixth cohort, bringing the total number of graduates to 109. This program is growing a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in Holly Springs. In fact, 95% of LHS graduates are still in business four years after graduation.
LHS, a Holly Springs Rotary initiative, is rooted in the community. Since its inception, over 20 local businesses have provided in-kind or financial support for the program. Over 40 Triangle entrepreneurs and business leaders have volunteered their time to mentor class members.
To maintain momentum and continue to grow the program, the LHS Committee has grown to 14 members. The communications team is now three strong and a community manager position was created to focus specifically on connecting with citizens and civic groups.
Applications for the 2023-2024 LHS are now being accepted. Entrepreneurs will be invited into the program based on a three-step, competitive process: application, attending a mandatory information session, and completing an interview. The LHS journey begins with the 10-week training course, which covers business strategy, planning, and financial management, followed by six months of mentoring.
Information session dates and other details can be found at www.launchhollysprings.org.
Many people find fulfillment, freedom, and personal growth in entrepreneurship. LHS is here to bridge the gap between business ideas and dreams and business success for aspiring entrepreneurs. For small business owners, LHS is here to help them scale their business for growth. If you live in the Holly Springs Extended Town Jurisdiction (ETJ) and have an interest in jumpstarting your business or business idea, we invite you to apply at www.launchhollysprings.org!
