Devils Ridge Golf Club and the Devils Ridge Ladies Golf Association in Holly Springs are proud to support the 18th Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefitting Pretty in Pink Foundation on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
Pretty in Pink Foundation (PIPF) is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization founded in 2004 by Dr. Lisa Tolnitch, a leading NC breast cancer surgeon. PIPF’s mission is to provide North Carolina uninsured and under-insured breast cancer patients, called Champions, with financial assistance for quality, lifesaving medical treatment regardless of their ability to pay. All monies raised come from partnering with physicians and healthcare facilities, grants, corporate sponsorships, businesses, third party events, fundraisers, and individual donations. Ninety percent (90%) of all money raised is used to provide services to their local Champions.
The cost of treatment remains the most significant barrier to getting both preventative and survivor’s care for those individuals whose income is below the 138% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). In North Carolina, nearly 20% of women have no health insurance coverage and more than 14% live at or below the federal poverty level. In addition, nearly one third of NC households are managed by single or divorced women with limited financial resources. If you are able, we hope that you will join us and other major sponsors to reach out to our community and lend a helping hand to women in need.
Benefit packages may include tournament entries and complimentary green fees at Devils Ridge. These items and others can be used to recognize key employees or valued/potential customers. Pretty in Pink Tax ID: 20-1162702
