Local Time Brewing
The Village District of downtown Holly Springs is in the midst of a transformation befitting the suburban growth that continues throughout southern Wake County. Professionals and families are embracing this revitalized Main Street by frequenting the new shops, restaurants, and community events. Local Time Brewing is a microbrewery based in the downtown Village District of Holly Springs. Their handcrafted beers will be brewed on-site and served directly to guests in their nearly 100-person capacity taproom and outdoor space. Local Time will have a relaxing, family environment, where folks can swap stories and enjoy a craft drink. The brewery will offer entertainment such as live music and trivia nights, as well as offer function space to host private gatherings and celebrations.
Serving a range of handcrafted beers, brewed by award-winning craftspeople, Local Time Brewing will feature an experience and brand that encourages the embracing and building of community at both the local and global level.
Local Time Brewing is the fulfillment of a dream of owners Chris and Kelly Gallagher who met while working at a Boston pub over 17 years ago. Having married in 2010, they moved to central North Carolina in 2012 and have fully embraced the lifestyle the region allows, including regularly enjoying the craft brewery scene.

“During my childhood in Ethiopia, I used to love watching people prepare food in the kitchen. This childhood experience, coupled with the culinary trainings I took in Belgium, taught me many things about food, its preparation from scratch, and how our body relates to it. However, what refined me and perfected my touch was the personal commitment I made thirteen years ago to keep my husband and children healthy, energetic, and happy through the food I give them. Now through Lovegrass Kitchen I hope to bring to my communities and neighborhoods in North Carolina and beyond what I have been giving my family for the past thirteen years, which is healthy, nutritious, and delicious food enshrined in this amazing grain called Teff.” – Meron Kassa, Owner
