Holly Springs Parks & Recreation is in the early stages of design for a new, seven-acre public park as part of the Village at Harris Lake development. Town development ordinances require new residential developments to provide park land dedication and improvement or a park and recreation fee-in-lieu. This developer requirement is in addition to other land conservation requirements that support the Town’s strategic goals to foster a vibrant community and manage growth. Park amenities being considered include natural surface walking trails, a gazebo, an open lawn for play and picnics, a tot-lot playground, and more.
