12 OAKS PHASE 9
If you have been down Woods Creek Rd. or Old Apex-Holly Springs Rd. recently, you’ve noticed a lot of land being moved where the tow roads intersect. The intersection has been a lot more popular since it’s the quickest way to get into Holly Springs when using the new NC-540 Veridea exit. Phase 9 will add 439 single family lots to 12 oaks.

New Hill Place Apartments
Tucked into the intersection of Bennet Knoll Parkway and Old Holly Springs Apex Rd., will be a new apartment complex with 288 units. Town Hall Commons
There’s been some confusion about what’s going downtown. There are multiple buildings in the works that will be lining the west side of Main Street downtown. Town Hall Commons will be the building across Ballentine Street from Town Hall.
The building will be two stories with a total square footage of 43,000 sf, 21,500 per floor. The site will also offer outside seating with fountain. The second floor will have balconies, and there will be dedicated parking for both employees and patrons.
Baxter Walker is representing the developer, and offered his input on the property.
“Having the opportunity to focus on the Commercial Real Estate sector in Holly Springs and Southwest Wake County since 2005, it is great to see the pieces of the puzzle come together for a project like this. In working with the Developer, who has already invested in Holly Springs with projects such as OFM and the Daniel Dhers Action Sports Complex facilities, along with the partnership with the town, this will fill a void that the town has need to drive even businesses to Downtown Holly Springs. This is definitely an exciting time for our town. With also being a resident since 2003, I am personally excited to see our town mature into a self-sustaining region which will continue to be a model for other small towns that are going through similar efforts.”
They are hoping to break ground in February 2018 with completion in First Quarter 2019. Retail for the first floor, and offices on second with focus on local businesses.
