Eggs Up Grill:
Eggs Up Grill is coming to Holly Springs. The breakfast and lunch restaurant serves a wide array of breakfast options, including the Mason Dixon which is two eggs with sausage patties, biscuit and gravy served with home fries or grits; to waffles, pancakes, and omelets for breakfast; and burgers, salads, soups, wraps and sandwiches for lunch.
They will be opening in Sunset Lake Commons at 4200 Lassiter Road as soon as construction is finished. They are hoping early December. This location is being opened by the same owners as the Fuquay-Varina location. They will be open from 6am – 2pm 7 days a week.
Tropical Smoothie:
Don’t let the name fool you. Tropical Smoothie Cafe is opening at 409 Village Walk Drive, Holly Springs, and offers much more than just smoothies. The menu offers wraps, sandwiches, salads, quesadillas, flatbreads and bowls. They also offer breakfast items and kids meals.
The Butcher’s Market:
The Butcher’s Market is being opened by a father/son team, with the mission of offering quality products at a fair price, and deliver it with unmatched hospitality in a convenient and fun shopping environment. The location in Holly Springs is their third location, with the other two being in Cary and Raleigh (at Quail Corners). The Holly Springs address will be 4200 Lassiter Road in the new Sunset Lake Commons. They hope to be open the week of November 26.
Lowe’s Home Improvement:
Lowe’s has proposed to open a location at the corner of Ralph Stephens Rd. and the 55 Bypass. The 36.8-acre proposal includes development for other retail buildings on the lot.
Shrimp Shack:
The Shrimp Shack is coming to Holly Springs. Although it’s primarily seafood, the owners tell us that there will also be chicken for the land-lovers. The casual seafood restaurant is being opened by two Holly Springs residents. You will be able to dine in or take out. It will be opened Tuesday-Saturday for lunch and dinner. They are currently in the construction phase and hope to be open in December.
Fera’wyns:
Fera’wyn’s Artisan Chocolate Cafe is currently under construction in the old Sub Zero location in Holly Springs Crossing next to Lowe’s Foods. The locally-owned cafe will feature artisan truffles, caramels and chocolates. They will also have a coffee bar serving coffee, tea and hot chocolate. They expect to have construction finished mid-November in order to be open for the holidays. The shop will specialize in micro-batch truffles that will feature local ingredients whenever possible. Many of their desserts will be gluten-free as well. The owner, Joana Whittingham, has earned two awards this year that celebrate Women in Chocolate, in addition to back to back (to back) awards of Grand Master Chocolatier and Best Truffle for shows all over the west coast.
Raleigh Foot & Ankle:
Raleigh Foot & Ankle Center is opening at 1004 Werrington Dr. in Main Street Square. The office will house foot & ankle physicians and surgeons. They focus specifically on foot and ankle problems. This location is going to be their third location for the practice, but their first in Holly Springs.
