The Perch — Coming This Summer
Peterson Station, 1125 McChesney Hill Loop
The Perch is a place for you to gather, connect, and stay awhile. Centered around specialty coffee, specialty games, and shared experiences, it aims to prioritize presence with people. The Perch’s entire design intentionally creates a cozy and familiar space to relax, work remotely, or unwind.
There will be plenty to explore on both the menu and in the board game venue. While The Perch will offer coffee beverages at its brew bar and a 200+ game library for play in its arena, there will be a wide selection of board games, RPGs, CCGs, and game accessories for purchase. Jacob Williams, one of the owners, simply shares, “We are serving joy, every day!”
Jacob and his partners, Adam and Laurean Leigh, started the venture with a full focus on cultivating belonging and collaboration. “We wanted a place for people to hang-out, play games, and spend time together,” share the Leighs.
The Perch opens this summer at Peterson Station, and they invite you to come sit, savor, and stay awhile.

Sam’s Express Car Wash — Proposed

It’s been proposed that a vacant four-acre parcel at the corner of Avent Ferry Road and Ralph Stephens Road be subdivided into two separate lots with the name Carroll Crossing. Chase Bank Project — Proposed
5260 Sunset Lake Road
A .88-acre parcel of land at the corner of Sunset Lake Road and Lassiter Road has been rezoned to accommodate a Chase Bank. Next to come, construction plans will be reviewed for redeveloping an existing single-family home on the property. Plans for the project currently call for a 3,432-square-foot building, drive-through, parking, sidewalks, and an evaluation of traffic issues at that intersection.
