A development plan has been proposed for a 6,276-square-foot building to be the site of Jim ‘N Nick’s Community Bar-B-Q. Long-Term Care/Rehab Facility — Approved
1936 Ralph Stephens Road
A development plan has been approved for a 120-bed skilled nursing facility on 7.16 acres as part of the Southern Crossroads project. Plans show a 67,953-square-foot building designed for long-term care and short-term rehabilitation along with two courtyards and 96 parking spaces
Mira Ridge — Proposed
3020 Avent Ferry Road
Preliminary plans could be in the works for Mira Ridge, a 60-lot detached dwelling subdivision on 21.62 acres on Avent Ferry Road near Lochridge. Early designs include two-story homes with alley access, a playground and “tot lot” with playsets, a gazebo, cornhole courts, benches, a greenway, and tree preservation space.
Daventry — Proposed
6725 Thrasher Road
Stanley Martin Homes has proposed rezoning a parcel of rural residential property to be suburban residential for the purpose of developing a 200-home community on 140.8 acres off Adcock Road south of Buckhorn Creek. Plans for Daventry include 36 acres of tree preservation and seven acres of recreation area, including a community pool, amenity center, playground, dog park, athletic play lawn, and walking trails.
